Spacecom Software is a successful SaaS company based in Mumbai, licensing proprietary AAA / Radius solutions over the last 15 years. Spacecom’s Log2Space product line is highly popular amongst internet service providers and Wi-Fi system enablers across India due to consistent organic growth and referrals from within the industry.

As a sales executive with Spacecom Software, your role will be divided into 2 main responsibilities:

  1. Form relationships with internet service providers to bring-in and retain new business.
  2. Engaging with our existing clients to retain growth from their accounts.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience with demonstrated capability to influence external parties and comfort with technical interfaces and systems.


Responsibilities

  • Understand products and services offered by Spacecom Software and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.
  • Engage with current clients to get insights on new market requirements and offerings.
  • Update current clients about Log2Space’s recent work and features.
  • Follow-up with enquiries till they are on-boarded.
  • Mapping potential clients and driving strategy to establish a long term relationship with their C-levels of business and IT.
  • Consistently meeting with potential clients and industry influencers.
  • Maintain written trail of all meetings with existing and potential clients with minutes, follow-ups, etc.
  • Making and giving presentations to articulate Spacecom’s solutions towards solving specific client problems.
  • Preparing monthly sales reports.
  • Meet and exceed reasonable targets for quarterly growth in revenue.
  • Keep oriented with competitive landscape in terms of pricing and preferences.
  • Travel as required.


Required Skills

  • Direct or inside sales experience in networking equipment, subscriber management software, bandwidth, firewall or any product / service in the broadband industry.
  • Adept with written business communication and sales process (reaching out, requesting meetings, minutes of meetings, following-up, preparing quotations).
  • Confidence to continually grasp complex technical concepts that are new to you.
  • Ability to understand technical jargon and articulate it as necessary to IT or business professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in any field, however, preferably in IT / communications stream.
  • Masters in management would be a plus.


Offer

Starting salary would be 4 to 6.5 lacs per annum. Performance based increment would be evaluated in a year.

The first six months of the job will be a probation period which shall be converted to a full-time position provided the candidate meets performance requirements.


Noteworthy Information

We operate out of Mumbai and do not have an office in Gurgaon/NCR. Hence, selected candidate will spend the first couple of weeks of the role in Mumbai to orient themselves with our company and our products. Following which some leads will be provided to begin work back in Gurgaon/NCR.

On resuming the role, Mumbai visits will be required typically once in a few months to keep up to date with newer developments and to reinforce communication with our team.
